Meet
The Team
“Meet the crew who built this dream in pastels and punk grit—where every loud idea gets a delicate spin, every color has an edge, and together we turn chaos into creation. Welcome to our team: rough around the edges, soft to the core, and always ready to play a new tune.”

Devin Grimes is a visionary creative director, multidisciplinary artist, and the founder of Devy Mortals, Devy Dolls, Devy Mag, and the emerging beauty brand Devy Beauty. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Devin has built a career on turning creative passion into tangible impact, using every project as an opportunity to fuse innovation, emotion, and activism.
A proud graduate of Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art, Devin blends formal training with lived experience to shape an evolving universe of brands that are bold, inclusive, and purpose-driven. From branding and logo development to photography, home décor, public relations, website creation, and custom art, Devin’s design philosophy emphasizes storytelling, empowerment, and social transformation. What began as a love for design has become an expanding creative empire—one rooted in originality and a deep commitment to community.
At the heart of Devin’s work is Devy Mortals, a flagship brand that champions not only art and fashion but also humanity. Through this platform, Devin uses creativity to serve a higher purpose—addressing real-world issues like homelessness, poverty, and sustainability. Whether it's organizing clothing drives, feeding those in need, advocating for homeless youth, or promoting recycling awareness, Devin is constantly finding ways to give back through their art.
Each Devy brand branch—from Devy Dolls, which celebrates identity and self-expression, to Devy Mag, which curates bold stories and visuals, and the upcoming Devy Beauty, a cosmetics line set to revolutionize fashion shows and editorial looks—is a manifestation of Devin’s vision to uplift, inspire, and challenge the status quo. With future appearances in Fashion Week on the horizon, a growing list of collaborators, and a loyal community supporting the movement, Devin’s mission is expanding into something timeless.
But this journey is more than business—it’s personal. It’s a love letter to resilience, to the people who believed in the dream, especially the community in Virginia that has supported Devin every step of the way. It’s about building not just brands, but legacies—spaces where creativity, community, and courage intersect.
Whether you’re here to shop, collaborate, learn, or just be inspired—you’re welcome in the Devy Universe, where fashion meets purpose, art meets heart, and every creation tells a deeper story.
James Hansen has been by my side since the very beginning of Devy Mortals. For over four years, he’s been more than just a partner — he’s been a silent architect, a trusted collaborator, and one of the most essential forces behind the brand’s evolution.
From the first spark of an idea to full-scale prototypes and manufacturing, James has helped shape every layer of this enterprise. He’s the one who stuck around during the chaos, who believed in the vision when it was still scribbled in notebooks, and who made sure we stayed grounded while dreaming big.
James works hands-on with our suppliers and production teams, overseeing the technical and logistical aspects that keep Devy Mortals running behind the scenes. He brings a methodical, analytical mind to a world full of artistry and energy — balancing creativity with structure, and passion with precision.
Whether it's helping bring new collections to life or troubleshooting problems before they happen, James Hansen has proven time and again that he’s not just a part of the team — he’s a part of the brand’s heartbeat.
Without James, there would be no Devy Mortals as we know it today. His presence, loyalty, and love for the process are embedded in every product we launch, every risk we take, and every legacy we’re building together.

Caitlin Corbin has been one of the most genuine, loyal, and ride-or-die spirits behind Deadly Mortals. While her official title might not yet be listed on a business card, her impact echoes in everything we do — from the stage lights at our drag shows to the vending tables at pop-ups, to the behind-the-scenes brainstorms that make our campaigns come to life.
Caitlin joined the movement not because she had to — but because she believed. She believed in the mission, in the creativity, in the community, and most of all — in me. From the moment she stepped into our circle, she’s been putting in real hours, real energy, and real love into this brand. She’s helped us pitch and plan drag shows, book talent, arrange vendor spaces, carry equipment, organize outreach — and she’s done all of it not for fame or money, but out of pure passion for the culture and the cause.
This isn't just work to Caitlin. It's sacred ground. She's invested her own money, her own time, and her own strength — showing up when no one else would, staying late when the work wasn’t done, and making magic out of chaos. Her ideas are fresh, her instincts are sharp, and her heart is fully in it. Whether she's curating show themes, coordinating costumes, or hyping the team when spirits are low, Caitlin brings that rare kind of energy you can't teach — you pray for it on your team.
“Caitlin is the kind of person who reminds you why you started. She has poured blood, sweat, and soul into Deadly Mortals without ever asking for anything in return. She’s not just helping the brand — she’s helping build the legacy.” — Devin Grimes, Founder of Deadly Mortals
Caitlin Corbin is part of the soul of Deadly Mortals. She’s helped us elevate drag as an art form, fuel queer expression, and carve out real space for beauty, boldness, and authenticity. If you've ever been moved by one of our events, chances are, Caitlin had her hands on it. And the best part? She’s just getting started.
